The Balloons Will Fly at Angola Balloons Aloft
Angola Balloons Aloft 2026 is set for July 10 and 11. Flights are scheduled for Friday evening, July 10; Saturday morning and evening, July 11; and Sunday morning, July 12. In addition to the competition flights, the popular balloon illuminations are set for both Friday and Saturday evenings at Angola High School.
We will have a kids fun zone and food vendors. Look for the classic car show on Saturday as well. We continue to offer free admission and parking, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. Please plan on bringing your lawn chairs and blankets so you can spread out and safely enjoy this wonderful community event!

Balloon Launches & Competition
Watch colorful hot air balloons launch into the Indiana sky during our pilot competition flights. Wind and weather permitting.

Classic Car Show
View a huge variety of classic cars at Angola High School between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. There's no cost to join the show and no pre-registration is required.
- •Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- •Free to join, no pre-registration
- •Free t-shirts for first 150 vehicles
- •Prime parking for evening events
Kids Fun Zone
A dedicated area packed with activities and entertainment for our youngest festival guests.
- •10 Bounce houses and inflatables
- •Purchase tickets at the Kid's Fun Zone entrance
- •All day bounce pass - $25
Helicopter Rides
Intrepid Helicopters will offer rides at Angola Balloons Aloft Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11. Rides are first come, first served so plan to arrive early.
- •Friday 4-7 PM, Saturday Noon-7 PM
- •$50 per person ($60 after 6 PM)
- •Minimum 2 passengers per flight
- •Children 2+ with parent/guardian
Food & Vendors
Our food vendors will have a wide variety of delicious treats including hamburgers, hot dogs, walking tacos, nachos, and much more!
